You may have noticed that as of earlier this week, Liftopia is sporting a new look! We launched a comprehensive consumer facing site redesign on Monday of this week and we hope you will like as much as we do…
Here at Liftopia, we are extremely fortunate to work within an industry that produces amazing photography and our resort partners that have wonderful logos and photos, so we decided to focus our new design on those attributes. Throughout the year we continually test, tweak and improve our site functionality, efficiency and ease of use, but we also generally do a sweeping stylistic overhaul every summer. This is our 6th comprehensive stylistic redesign and I am sure we’ll make it even better next summer. With this redesign we incorporated a completely new look, streamlined and modernized all of the core the user flows, and added some helpful functionality, flair and character. Our goal is to make the shopping experience on our site quick and fun so you can easily research and find the best resort for you at the right price. We want you to spend more time on the slopes and less time planning for them!
This redesign, named Project GITMO after our Lead Designer Jen’s cat, took several months complete. A huge amount of thought, attention and care went into every last button, picture, logo, trail map, price point and error message on the site. Jen lead the design and also helped Jake, Devin, Brendan and Sunil code it all up. Huge thanks to Liftopia Team Dev for the many, many long days, late nights and crazy weekends that made this project a success. Jen will be posting details soon about the best features and functionality in the new design.
We are still tying down loose ends so please let us know if you see anything funky. As always we love any and all feedback so don’t hold back!
