Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) weekend is traditionally a big ski weekend. Not only does the holiday guarantee you an extra day of skiing, but it’s also right at the time when the ski season is in high gear and when Mother Nature starts dropping some of the best snow storms all year.
With MLK weekend right around the corner, it’s time to start planning! To celebrate, several resorts will be featuring special events, live music, fireworks, and much more. And if you book your lift tickets in advance on Liftopia, you’ll be able to save up to 80%, allowing you to enjoy more festivities on the slopes.
To help you plan your fun-filled weekend, here are 5 examples of ski resorts across North America that are hosting special events during MLK weekend. Check your local mountain’s calendar to see what’s going on near you.
