Sunday River | Sunday, December 2, 2012

We might’ve missed it this year, but keep Sunday River’s Santa Sunday in mind for next year!  Each year, the resort celebrates the arrival of winter and the holiday season by raising money for a good cause with their Santa Sunday event, in which participants show up wearing a Santa hat, jacket, pants and beard.  In exchange for dressing up, taking a group photo and donating $10+ to Sunday River’s organization of choice (this year, all proceeds went to the Bethel Rotary’s Christmas for Children program), skiers receive a free lift ticket.  Sounds like a deal!

Rose, Bolton Valley, Windham Mountain and Canyons Resort for the dates listed above. What other holiday events will you be attending at your favorite ski areas this year? Share them in the comments below, and don’t forget to send some pictures our way!
