    What about midwest resorts? Granite Peak is making snow and projecting a Nov. 17 opening.

    It’s been such a warm autumn this year I don’t know how the NE ski resorts are going to be able to maintain their snowpack until the weather finally pivots to seasonal cold. Seems like it’s going to be a lot of one-run icy muddy hoping for the best for awhile yet. Really hope I’m wrong.
